Oh I agree that ESPN wants to pay for ratings and that Wake, Duke


(in football), BC, maybe Syracuse, maybe Pitt, maybe UVA, and maybe GT just doesn't deliver on the rating. Even the Big Ten and SEC have their fair share of schools that don't pull in the ratings. That's one of the reasons I got the idea of the schools pooling their resources together just like the NFL teams did all those years ago. If the new division level also decides to only play games among themselves, then the pooling of the resources may be an even more valuable tool.
