Depending on how long the court cases take, Clemson and FSU may not


be able to return to the ACC. At least I'm assuming any case will eventually make its way up to SCOTUS and that could take years. If Clemson and FSU are scheduled to join the SEC at the beginning of FY2024 and SCOTUS hasn't ruled on the case, then will all 3 parties delay until the legal issue has been resolved or proceed with the plan and hope for the best? Honestly, I could see it going either way particularly if the new Playoff contract and bowl tie-in contracts are coming up for renewal and the ACC's football status (power conference vs. G6 conference) will have a direct impact on those contracts.
