A stadium can be close to an interstate and still be in the middle


of nowhere. Mountain View HS (formerly Stonewall Jackson HS) near Mount Jackson, VA is a perfect example because it is right next to I-81 and basically surrounded by farm land.

Even though there may be surrounding neighborhoods, it still doesn't mean the area has a developed area vibe about it. I found this article from November 2021 where Pratt & Whitley agreed to sell the former airfield to National Development. In the picture you can see some development, but I don't think enough to give off a developed vibe to the area. The article does mention there is 280 developable acres, so maybe things will change in the future.
