Maybe. Maybe not

The Big XII was a great conference with Nebraska, aTm,, OU and Texas. Replace that with FSU (who you know will be back), Clemson and VT and it’s just as good. Plus OK State, Texas Tech and KSU care about football and will always strive for better. And they all big state schools. That’s the model. The state schools will eventually feed off each other’s successes like they do in the SEC and Big Ten. The media deal is the media deal. That’s where a good commissioner is needed.

Will this conference ever hold a candle to the SEC and Big Ten? No. Those 2 conferences will never be caught. But I like my ACC - Big XII mash-up better than watching BC play Wake or Pitt at Miami with 5,000 fans watching it. The private and city schools are an embarrassment.
