If you think that’s true you might want to pay attention to the world…

today. Geography seems to matter less and less these days. What really matters is innovation and strong leadership. The ACC and Big XII need to disband and form a 16-team super conference full of 14 big State universities and a few private schools, Bye bye to Duke, Wake, Miami, BC, Louisville, Pitt and SU. Bye bye to Norte Dame. Get an innovative commissioner to make a deal with the devil (Bezos, Musk or any other money grabber) to develop this super conference with a tremendous TV deal. Have that money grabber bring college football back to NBC sports and make billions. Think outside the box. Even then, the SEC and Big Ten would still be superior but at least you could get a conference with real state schools (minus a few private schools that care about football). The conference headquarter location wouldn’t matter. Hell, put it in Evansville Indiana. Doesn’t matter. What matters is who is running it and how it’s run. And since college football is all about money, why not just make a deal with the devil. Enjoy the riches for a decade until the U.S. currency becomes a joke.

Anyway…. Here’s my conference idea. The Atlantic & Plains Conference
