DC is no 6 metropolitan area. Charlotte twenty??

ACC got charlotte, no need to over saturate it, getting DC would be huge.

Move the ACC HQ to DMV (ie Dulles corridor). and it's encumbered on VT (and Virginia) to make the aggressive move into the market even more (and squeeze Maryland/ Big 10). If ACC can dominate DC (and Charlotte) 2 MAJOR MAJOR MARKETS.

So, ACC can logically market itself as the 'east coast conference, as headquarters in the middle in DC (with United hub), and placement in Hampton Roads, Richmond Charlotte, Atlanta, Florida NY, BC Pittsburgh and into Chicago with Notre Dame). Thats a good argument.
