I think looking at it that way, they come to an ACC-Big XII merger result.


If the Big XII starts thinking about adding many eastern schools, they'll reach out to the ACC to propose some sort of merger like we've talked about here before. Texas coming to the ACC with four of its friends, a couple of its schools going Big Ten, and perhaps the left overs trying to get into the SEC or PAC12.

It would be better for them to merge with the ACC than merge with the AAC.
