I agree with many of your points but here is another question ...
how about the millions of Americans that are currently paying for their parent or parents to live in a nursing home and have now been without income for 6 weeks? How are they expected to continue to care for them? They can't move their parents in with them as that may expose them to more risk (though we both know nursing homes are like trailer parks in a tornado zone right now).
This is without question both a health emergency and an economic emergency. Our supply chain is starting to fall apart which will lead to massive problems for everyone. We have to salvage what is left of the economy while still protecting the vulnerable - those are not mutually exclusive ideas.
