I think we've pretty much proven that people (younger, healthier, or not)
cannot be "smart and responsible" about this. If they were, you wouldn't have had beaches packed. You wouldn't see people still out refusing to stay home or wear a mask. We wouldn't have had a bunch of idiots go on Spring Break at the outset of this. We wouldn't have churches still holding mass gatherings just to spite the authorities. We wouldn't have had stay at home "recommendations" turn into stay at home "orders".
And I'd argue young/healthier people definitely pose a risk to others. They might not get sick or even show symptoms but they most certainly can pass it to those who will. And that's the problem I have. If the people making bad decisions or acting irresponsibly were the ones that were most likely going to see the impact of that then I'd say let em have at it. If you want to ride a motorcycle w/o a helmet, I think that's a dumb idea, but it's going to be your skull that cracks open. But that's not how this works.
