It is starting to appear like many Americans are just 'done' with the whole
quarantine thing, and frankly I am starting to struggle with it quite a bit as well. I joked with my wife that 'gas is cheap - I'm driving to Georgia for a haircut' ... and I was a little bit serious. Based on social media pictures, the Virginia Beach boardwalk was packed this weekend. The National Mall was far more crowded this weekend than previous weekends. My neighborhood had a small organized 'gathering' though some wore masks and everyone kept their distance - basically just a 'let's all drink and listen to music somewhere other than our homes' deal. It is going to get nothing but worse as more time passes and the weather gets better. That is where the whole police state deal is going to get tested - there are really no legal grounds for shelter in place orders so somebody is bound to challenge it at some point and then what happens? Good luck keeping folks off the beaches in the coming weeks. People are done.
