disease and never know it. Part of the burden of staying safe remains with those that are vulnerable. When my daughter was young she had a blood disorder that left her extremely vulnerable to bacterial infections. If she got a fever of any type she was rushed to the ER immediately - we went through that countless times. My wife quit her job because we had to remove my daughter from day care and she was not allowed to go to play dates or anything else where she could be around other kids. But we never inconvenienced others - it was our responsibility to keep her safe, not theirs. I have an 80 year-old mother that I am worried about since she has severe asthma. But she is the first one to say we should start opening things up - it is upon her to remain isolated.
You may not agree with she or I, but many folks feel that way.
