I don't disagree if attendance is the deciding factor.
If a college league was ever formed for football, then I don't believe attendance would be a deciding factor. I do think it would be 1 of several factors depending on how some other decisions go. It is even possible that a school has to meet A, B, C, D, and E minimum requirements in order to even be considered for the league. Size of the stadium could be the A requirement and actual attendance figures (not sales figures) could be the B requirement. The reason I used actual attendance figures is because a school could sell every ticket and still claim the game is "sold out" even though the actual attendance during the game may be closer to 50%. Even VT is guilty of playing this game.
