Yes, I would rather have Pitt in the (eight team) playoff than UGa

They didn't play each other, so no one has any idea which is a better team. Pitt did win their conference championship, however. I'd love for those to be play in games as much as possible. Win and you are in the playoffs, lose and you are out.

Committee rankings should only be used where it is unavoidable, like deciding which champions to include, or whether or not one independent should be in there.

What we are doing now is just turning the SEC into a monster. Time to put a stake into it.
