The ACC wanted ESPN......


as its TV partner. I see the alliance as little more than a leverage play by the ACC. We can all agree the ACC is not going to be driving the bus in any partnership alliance. Does it make more sense to trust the alliance of the Big10/PAC12/Fox or the alliance of the SEC/ESPN? Next question, when it becomes time for the end game which alliance would have more deadweight to cut and which alliance would have more longstanding relationships and a motivation to look at things more collectively when it comes to the ACC? My gut tells me that for VT specifically and the ACC in general that SEC/ESPN is the most likely choice.
