This is where the media has had too much control


When they say stuff like this, they are creating the perception that they want. Especially the whole ESPN centric point of view.

"The SEC has simply left everyone else in the dust and has the first true super-conference and the biggest brands and the best value in college football."

Sure the SEC has some of the biggest brands, but it doesn't have all of them. It's just 18 teams. And most of the shine for the conference comes from the top 3 teams (just like in any other conference). This constant ESPN pumping that the SEC is above all others is tiresome.
