As I have noted in other posts, don't be surprised if the ACC has a divorce
similar to what the Big East had in 2013 where the basketball schools and Notre Dame keep the ACC name. While the football schools either form a new power conference (i.e. the AAC) or join an existing conference. If 6 or 7 "football schools" happen to leave/get kicked out of the ACC, then they could form a new conference with 6 or 7 Big XII schools. Here is an example of what that new conference could look like.
New Conference
East Division: WVU, VT, NC State, Clemson, FSU, Miami, and L'ville
West Division: Iowa St, Kansas, Kansas St, Oklahoma, Oklahoma St, Texas, and Texas Tech
