Right now the ACC is probably heading down a similar/same path
that the Big East went down with the conference being divided into 2 camps (basketball vs. football). The Big East made the decision to stop sponsoring football and kick the football schools out of the conference. I could see the ACC do something similar because enough members in the conference are no longer interested in the ACC remaining a football power conference. If that were to happen, then the ACC 2.0 could easily look something like this: BC, Syracuse, Pitt, UVA, Wake, Duke, UNC, GT, Notre Dame, and maybe UConn. Although I could see a scenario where Pitt and Syracuse end up in the same conference as WVU. [Post edited by VTHokie2000 at 04/07/2021 11:13AM]
