did you lose a finger?
It doesn't sound like it. So I wonder why you just didn't patch it up at home? I can see the need for a tetanus shot, but you probably should keep the current beforehand, not get that in an emergency. And why couldn't you drive to the emergency room yourself?
I'm not trying to attack you, but I find it astounding that you expect all of these people (your quote below) to be on standby 24/7 for your convenience for 400 bucks.

How could all of that possibly only cost $400?
