There are moore's law like learning curves in EV/battery/Solar tech at this point. Unit costs are coming down at staggering rates.

This isn't complicated and ever bit of progress away from the 1960s models is progress. Nobody is saying oil consumption will drop to 0 in 2022. It doesn't have to be all or nothing. Price shocks to Gas like Russia sanctions help drive more investments to help make progress.
