There is no Moore's Law for renewables

There are not going to be remarkable advances in technology in the near future to make this anywhere near equivalent to so-called fossil fuels. We are not powering a world of electric cars with solar and wind. But if you want to talk nuclear plants to generate electricity, we may be able to get somewhere. That said, the people who are most fanatically all in for renewable energy and electric cars are all out for the only thing that can feasibly generate the electricity needed. There's your conundrum. I'm fine with electric cars and I don't like putting money in the hands of Russia, Iran, and Venezuela. In the meantime, we need oil and gas.
