^^^This^^^ Preach!! I agree. Want VT and hoova to lead, chart their own

better path. The ACC has NEVER, NEVER, EVER had VTs best interest. They snubbed us 3 times and never wanted us in 2003/2004 either! The B1G and SEC are kings of the hill with the SEC about to knock off the B1G for the top revenue spot. Both conferences are doubling up annual payouts to school members compared to the PAC, ACC, and Big XII. Most if not all of those schools have increased, built, and renovated facilities paid by conference money several times over before VT even launched a Reach For Excellence level campaign and renovated a few football offices and weight room. If VT doesn't jump to a more lucrative stable conference OR the large number of Hokie alumni don't start donating, then we won't keep up and likely won't be Tier 1 in the new athletic world sEcSPn is creating.
