This is why I think increasing the population of the ACC footprint helps.

With a network like we have it means that subscribers are a huge deal. ESPN makes more money with each one along with the ACC.

I don't think ESPN wants to pay much for the remaining 8 in the Big XII after Oklahoma and Texas leave. ESPN has had ample opportunity to do so and declined. But I think they'll see value in rivalry games involving the ACC and WVU.
