I don't see ESPN wanting to do that.

Disney is expending energy to get the ACC Network distribution. I don't see ESPN doing anything to damage their product. I don't see them offering the SEC much for FSU or Clemson. I see ESPN wanting the ACC to thrive in the Northeast. With the Big East on Fox, the Big Ten on CBS and Fox for basketball, etc. I know ESPN wants the ACC on television in the east. ESPN views the ACC as their premier basketball league. We want them to think more of ACC football. Need FSU and Miami back in full swing to do that I think.

They still have the rights to a number of Big Ten basketball games. With UConn going to the Big East, ESPN has lost them. I'm interested to see if ESPN makes another high bid to keep the Big Ten or if they let them go exclusively Fox and get behind the ACC more along with their SEC plans. ESPN also has the AAC meaning more Temple, UCF, USF, Houston, SMU, etc. basketball in the time slots.
