The ACC would certainly be interested in stuff ESPN wants to pay for.

But I would rather see the ACC put its own strategy together for its own destiny. I don't think John Swofford will be doing much past launching the ACC Network. It will be up to his successor.

For all of the interest in NYC, I'm also interested in Philadelphia. That's why I keep interested in the Temple situation. And I want to keep the ACC strong in Florida, hence an eye on USF and UCF. I'm not as interested in Texas. I just think they would take the ACC to places that don't seem like the ACC anymore.

But, I think WVU should be the priority as they regionally fit best with the core markets of where the ACC was founded. With all of the West Virginia transplants in Maryland, Virginia and the Carolinas, they would instantly fit IMO. And their rivalries with Pitt and Syracuse also fit.
