You'd bring Navy in to do that. Not a California option.


Those PAC12 schools aren't leaving the PAC12. If ND wanted to keep 2 out of conference games available for scheduling outside the ACC, we'd bring in Navy football only to do it. Otherwise they'd only have 1 game to freely schedule outside the ACC. I think they'd prefer to keep Navy outside the league though because they move that game all over the country. It's in San Diego this season. If we had Temple, Philly would be covered.

I'd argue for bringing in Navy for all sports, but they may prefer to stay in the Patriot League with Army.
