The ACC would not fall apart due to the addition of Texas...


the ACC would dissolve because of an extreme revenue gap with the B1G, P12, and SEC.

If Oklahoma and Texas and possibly Kansas end up divided up among those three conferences, then that's exactly what we'll see.

If - by some miracle - the ACC could entice Texas, TCU, Baylor and maybe Tulane, we'd be fools not to let Texas have whatever it asks for. Assuming Notre Dame is on indefinite retainer, the ACC then immediately becomes the richest and most powerful conference in the country. Academics for those additions should satisfy the ACC Elite.

Once the TV checks start coming in, nobody would leave the ACC.
