I know you specifically havent been a part of other discussions...

But it is maddening to have the same discussion with the same talking points

Bottom line...

No one has unlimited funds. Not Texas A&M, not Alabama, not Clemson, not Georgia...not the entire SEC. No one.

And if you dont have an unlimited budget, then you have to figure out where to allocate resources.

No one is playing 14 players. So why are you allocating resources to have the worlds best walk on when you could allocate resources towards getting better players who would actually be in your rotation.

Youre not getting anyone with the NIL minus scholarship offer that is worth anything because literally any other school can offer both NIL and a scholarship, and if youre at the top of the world in funds, there are people looking to knock you off. And theyll absolutely outbid you for this 14th player.

Unless some school has 14x as many funds as all other schools then it isn't a realistic option. And even then, again...no one uses 14 players. It would be very dumb to try and break your back for someone who wont contribute
