Looks awesome and checks almost every box. I got a Trek Checkpoint SL5

last year and love riding it. I was looking for a comfortable carbon frame, disc brakes, and wide tire clearance. Domane shares all those with the checkpoint. Tire clearance isn't quite as wide on the domane (38mm) compared to the checkpoint (45mm). But if you don't ride a lot of gravel you won't need it, and 38 mm will still handle gravel well.

Isospeed system is really comfortable. You probably won't notice the improvement until you go back to a bike without it. However, it is a bushing and needs cleaning and service like other wear parts.

The only spec on the SL5s that isn't great are the wheels. Slightly heavy. But I didn't think the SL6 pricepoint was worth it for better wheels. I plan to upgrade the wheels eventually.

Enjoy! What color are you leaning toward? I like the purple.
