Well don't take your car to Firestone...
couple of years ago they found $1,400 worth of repairs I had to do before they would put a sticker on my 2003 Hyundai. Also, my passenger side air bag light on my dashboard was on, and they told me that I would need to take the seat to a Hyundai dealership and have the seat sent to California to be repaired. When I talked to Hyundai they said the same--the cost $2,800! I found a seat in a junkyard, paid $100 and installed it and the light went out. Got my sticker and will never go to Firestone again. Found out that when your car is rejected, if you try and take it someplace else to be inspected, you still must get everything they rejected you for repaired.
