I disagree about the 24, but I do feel many schools will tap out.


They will not want to be farm systems for the NFL or NBA. It won't be worth the money for them to do that, especially if they do not have the fan support to justify it.

And the guy's predicting 10 years down the road. I bet you said college football playoffs and players being financially compensated was pure fantasy too? How did you feel about VT ever gaining entry into the ACC? What about Notre Dame in the ACC? Were those all fantasy?

I think SOMETHING like what he's describing once these TV contracts run out is quite possible. I do feel it will be bigger than 24, but I do sense many many schools will chose to not participate.
