and that's all it is. I think that Pete got us exactly the schedule that we needed. The big names early got us on the radar of people who will eventually have a say in selecting post-season hosts. Radar and RPI are the name of the game there. The team's job is to take care of the one thing they can... play ball and just win games. Early wins pushed us up in the rankings quickly. Continued wins keep us there. IMO, that's an easier path than taking the slow start and clawing your way to the top with big wins late in the schedule. I would love to have seen more competitive teams in our mid-week lineup, but that's hard to find within day-drive distance outside of the ACC. Our trip to Charlotte didn't end how we wanted it, but it was the right kind of team. Our mid-week in Knoxville is a great game to have on the schedule.

Ultimately, the ladies just need to keep playing ball, keep winning, and growing so that we're at our peak as we enter the post season. After this little break that they're in, a good test is going to be when we see how we fare for these next pair of opponents in FL. We have plenty of good ball to play coming up. I have a lot of faith in the young ladies that take the field for us!
