For the record, I'm not nitpicking anything.


I'm curious to know if people have an opinion on what scheduling blueprint VT should use going forward. The reason I'm curious is because the jock in me has 1 opinion. While the strategist in me has a completely opposite opinion to the jock's opinion.

For example, the jock says schedule a tough OOC schedule even if I'm projected to play a tough conference schedule because I want to make sure I'm really battle tested when it comes time to play in the College World Series. However, the strategist says if I go that route, then I will likely run out gas in the tank and unlikely make it out of the Regional Round. Likewise, the strategist says the OOC portion should counterbalance the conference portion on the schedule to make sure I have enough gas left in the tank. However, the jock says that I may not have been battle tested enough going this route and end up struggling against equal or superior competition in the Super Regionals or College World Series.
