What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.


Even if VT doesn't frequently play in the SEC Championship Game, that doesn't mean the program wouldn't still be in a better place. If VT goes 8-4 or 9-3 most years, then there is a good (maybe even great chance) VT is willing at least 50% of its marquee games (i.e. WVU, Oklahoma State, Kansas, Stanford, UCLA, Cal, etc.) during both the regular season and bowl games. I could live with that especially if VT is producing SEC-like numbers in terms of NFL talent every year.
