With respect to the championship game appearance, I said I think Tech would


have a chance of appearing in the SEC championship game every five years or so. I do not think Tech would actually make it to the championship game every five years. It would probably only be about every 10 to 15 years (unfortunately). With the right coach, I think it could be a little more frequently.

If Tech had gone to the SEC when Missouri did, I think Tech would be in the top half of the league now, which means at least second tier to me. The implication is also that Tech's leadership placed some emphasis on football as evidenced by joining the SEC and did not let that emphasis drop off.
