I think you are right.....
possibly for the reason you assert and, if not, for a host of other reasons. All this makes for good message board fodder but, the likelihood is that by the time 2025 rolls around the collegiate landscape, particularly football, will bear little, if any resemblance to where things are now.
Think of similar periods in the past 2001-2005, 2011-2015 and now 2021-2025. The forces now working including the CFP Playoff, Alston, NIL, Media Delivery options, etc., in addition to the latest conference expansion salvo are all reminiscent of conference expansion(2001-2005), conference expansion and TV networks(2011 - 2015) only with more variables added and more money at stake. What I am saying is I wouldn't get too excited in how the Alliance might apportion OOC game scheduling because the likelihood is something far different is coming down the pipeline. The Alliance may have an impact, even a substantial impact, in where things end up but, I am betting and guessing that impact will have little, if any, to do with OOC scheduling.
