It doesn't displace anything.
The ACC gets access to the entire PAC and a bunch of scheduling options. ND, right now, only has 1-2 PAC games a year. They are not hoarding all the PAC games or money or opportunity.
ND may say they are an independent, but schedule wise, they are almost an ACC team. The ACC teams benefit greatly by getting a lot of access to future ND schedules. So why is anyone complaining that ND is part of the ACC package when it comes to the Alliance? The ACC can't have it both ways with benefiting from ND and complaining about ND.
The Alliance is a huge scheduling opportunity for all the teams. There are lots of teams and matchups and tv times to go around and benefit everybody. This is like getting a date with Cindy Crawford and then complaining that she has a beauty mark.
