It seems like this discussion fluxuates between a USC focus and a PAC focus
As I noted above, USC and ND currently only have a contract through 2026 (and Stanford through 2024). So the future is WIDE OPEN for Alliance scheduling. There is no guarantee at this time that ND would keep getting USC every year. It might be highly likely, but it is not contractually guaranteed as of today.
And if we are talking about scheduling the PAC as a whole, there are 12 teams available to schedule with the ACC. Just as the ACC is more than Clemson, the PAC is more than USC (who has only won the conference 1 time in the past 10 years).
