You guys need to look at the current media rights, ESPN already won

They totally control ACC, will totally control SEC in 2024 and totally control BYU and Texas.
They also share control right now of the Big Ten, Big12, and PAC. All of those current arrangements expire in 2024 or 2025.

ND is the only area where ESPN has no control. And that contract is up in 2025 with NBC.

It is entirely possible that ESPN could control all of college football if they wanted to when all of those contracts come up in a few more years. The opportunity is there for them.
