I say it’s like prosecutors and defense lawyers, or opposing counsel in

civil cases. It’s business.

Socially they are often and sometimes good friends.......often would see opposing lawyers having drinks and/or meals together after a case or sometimes during a case. Professionally they do what’s required for the plaintiff/defendant/the state, etc.
