Even if the ACC jettisons some small schools the math makes your suggestion

difficult to work. All the desirable schools that have the clout to improve the ACC make a lot more than the biggest budget ACC school now. FSU $152, Clemson $133. Penn State $164. Why would someone take the pay cut, which is required for what you suggest?
