Your view has merit but what are we actually observing right now? The SEC

is willingly making itself more difficult and top heavy. I don't know if it is simple pride and chest-pounding by Texas and OU but clearly they realize their won-loss records will not be as gaudy. Whatever the motive, this is putting them closer to a position to monopolize the money and exposure.

In ACC, we have seen lots of very highly rated recruits willing to go to UNC and play for a floundering team.

I agree, the ACC has much bigger problems and so do we.
