To be fair the one on one interaction with a teacher is still possible with


virtual learning, it just sounds like that's not happening. It's interesting that another post in this thread is basically the opposite of yours... that one on one interactions are monopolizing the teacher's time to the detriment of teaching the entire class. That just illustrates how tricky this situation is for the schools and the teachers. You only have so many hours in a day and can only devote so many of those hours to group vs one on one instruction. But that would be the case regardless of whether the school was in-person or remote.

I think how successful virtual learning is depends entirely on the school system, the student, and the teacher.
