It's been awful for our Kindergartener. She has had maybe 4 days of

instruction? The rest have been interrupted by testing, and the last 4 days, her teacher has had COVID and apparently they have NO BACK UP PLAN for this. How the hell did you not plan to have a substitute virtual teacher? That's like saying, oh hey kids, your teacher is sick today, don't come to school. What would happen if the teacher had food poisoning and was rather sick for two days next week? Just skip those 2 days and give them more assignments that they can't do independently because they can't read?

SO yeah, it's not good and we've been told now (Gator can possibly confirm) that they are going to have to start giving more instruction for my 2nd grader because they aren't meeting the law with required instruction time. She's handling it pretty good, but still needs Mom and Dad's help for certain things.
