I actually interviewed a big number of middle school

Kids on remote learning. Over 20. They all walked me through there virtual learning habits. Seems like the higher achievers are using the teacher as almost the class assistant for scheduling and grading. They could rattle off the various resources they are using to solve problems. Kahn Academy, YouTube, various apps. A lot are using tutors too. The wealthy kids sometimes have multiple tutors. The tutors we use are booked solid. Many in our area were full time teachers but are making much more money as tutors. Some are meeting the kids in person again.

Have to imagine the lower income kids are really struggling in this environment.

A nice lady at Virginia Tech recently told my daughter (a high school jr) that the school will likely not require SAT or ACc for the foreseeable future. So we have that going for us.
