I'm still in the stage of mentally bridging the gap
I still crave the sensation of eating dishes with meat. So rather than go cold turkey, I'm experimenting the easy way by using veggie patties (as one example). Some brands are much better tasting than others. But most can be fixed up to be good.
But I hear you. I'll check out some other options along what you suggested. Thanks.
