Sorry to hear, HMD. We have been dealing with a similar situation.


I thought we were going to have to make that hard decision about our dog two weeks ago today. She had stopped eating as well and had gone downhill REALLY fast. Since then we think we may have figured out what caused the issues and she has now bounced back really well, but there is still suspicion about possible cancer. At her age, I feel that we're going to be tetering on the edge of whether she is comfortable and happy or not.

It's such a difficult thing to decide, and I'm really hoping that I won't have to make that decision for our dog. I feel for you. I think in your case, given your dog's diagnosis, all you can do is try to make him as comfortable and happy as you can and let him know that he is loved. He will probably continue to have good days and bad days, but I guess when you feel like the good days aren't happening anymore, you may know it is time.

I'm very sorry to hear that you're going through this. I'll pray for you guys. Hang in there.
