If the dog appears to be in pain, and the vet says they won't improve. ..


We had to make that decision a few years back. Dog wouldn't eat. Threw up when she did. Started having seizures. I had the vet keep her for a couple of days, and nothing he did made it better. It sucked even though I know it was the right call. I saw no reason to let her suffer any longer. No way to make the decision not hurt like hell as a pet owner. I feel for you.
