I'm so sorry to hear about your boy. Once there's no quality/joy,

we put them down.

Our almost 13 yo Yellow Lab had a terrible potty explosion in the house and was beside himself. He walked into the vet's office wagging his tail but we knew it was the right thing.

Our ginormous Plott Hound/Pit/Saint Bernard became paralyzed. We thought we could keep him through the weekend but he kept looking at us saying, 'why can't I move?' We carried him into the vet the next day.

For both of these boys, there was no way we could care for their needs and they were confused/upset. The hardest thing we've ever done but undoubtedly the best for them. God bless you.
