Yes, ECU's attendance is falling off the cliff. But that's due more to total and utter incompetence of the AD than anything else. They had been competing and winning with all the obstacles until the idiot AD fired Ruffin McNeil. Since then the football team has been in free fall. Talent is gone, will to win is gone, and with it, the fans' passion has been crushed.

Same does not apply to BC and Syracuse. Those two schools have been in major football conferences since the early 90's. No excuse for them to drop so far in football ability. Those two should have remained in the Big East Basketball Conference and just dabbled in football on the side.
