Is it possible it is poa truiviana? Probably not if it's just getting ->
"Poa Triv" is the perennial version of poa annua and it is a flat out BITCH... It will ultimately spread and take over.. you cannot get rid of it, and barely control it. I've read MUCH about it, because it's starting in my backyard. Can't control it with Tenacity, a poa annua herbicide that kills poa by keeping it from photosynthesis . you may see it on a golf course where the blades of grass are white.
Hopefully that's not it, and it doesn't start in summer...If you ever get that, it may be time to pave your yard..Even Roundup doesn't work all that great. Supposedly, you are to kill it in spring, and keep looking for any that survived. Then kill it again in fall and reseed....
Probably more info than anyone wanted to know, but you can tell it struck a nerve with me :>(
